The museal complex

The main entrance of the Museum of the Archdiocesan Sanctuary of Our Lady of Miracles in Corbetta is from the courtyard of Via Mazzini, 2 (Piazzetta Pio IV). The Museum is included in the sanctuary complex itself as well as the local wing of the old rectory, overlooking a typical style cloister. The collection has been established over the centuries and has been structured for the first time in the last quarter of the nineteenth century by Don Carlo Chierichetti. Only since the early '30s, however, the collection has been open to the public and has gradually enriched with bequests and donations.

In this section you can visit virtually the entire museum room by room, finding the main content of each room. For some rooms you can see old pictures as the environement appeared in '30s from archive photographs
